Terms of Service.
1. The Engagement
Presence Collective is a private coaching journey operated by Presence Collective LLC, a California limited liability company ("we," "us"). By submitting an application, scheduling an enrollment conversation, or enrolling in the journey, you agree to these terms.
2. Coaching, Not Therapy
Presence Collective provides personal development coaching. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, or a substitute for care from a licensed mental health or medical professional. Coaching is forward-focused work built on evidence-based frameworks. If at any point we believe you need clinical support beyond what coaching provides, we will tell you honestly and refer you to appropriate resources.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or 911 immediately.
3. Enrollment and Investment
Enrollment is by application only. The investment is discussed during the enrollment conversation and is due according to the payment terms agreed upon at enrollment. Your place in the journey is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
4. Your Commitments
The journey works when you work. By enrolling, you commit to:
- Attending your scheduled coaching sessions
- Completing writing assignments within the timeframes discussed
- Engaging honestly in the process
- Treating other men in group sessions with respect and holding their shares in confidence
5. Confidentiality
What you share in coaching is held in confidence, with limited exceptions: where disclosure is required by law, or where we believe there is imminent risk of harm to you or another person. Group participants agree to hold everything shared in group sessions in strict confidence.
6. Session Policies
Sessions are scheduled in advance. If you need to reschedule, provide at least 24 hours notice. Missed sessions without notice may not be rescheduled. Coaching support between sessions is available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with responses within 48 hours.
7. Intellectual Property
All journey materials - including writing prompts, frameworks, recordings, and course content - are the intellectual property of Presence Collective LLC. They are for your personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed.
8. Results
We stand behind the work. If you attend your sessions, complete your assignments, and engage in the process, you will finish this journey a better communicator with significantly improved emotional regulation. Individual results depend on your engagement. Full results require consistent participation throughout the journey.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to end a coaching engagement if a client's conduct is harmful to the coaching relationship, to group participants, or to the integrity of the work. In such cases, refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Presence Collective LLC's total liability for any claim arising from the coaching engagement is limited to the amount you paid for the journey.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from the coaching engagement will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
